It's interesting that the infrastructure of the new Iraqi government was put together in Washington D.C. under the leadership of Paul Wolfowitz (specifically by his Iraq Reconstruction and Development Council). Interesting in how capitalist it all is. Former businessmen take over the white house, and how do they fight terrorism? By turning "freedom" into a marketable franchise. By importing and snapping together a Lego Democracy (payable on delivery please; oil, arms and cash accepted). We've taken our Jeffersonian ideals and turned them into an assembly-line ethics, rolling out liberation, knowledge and alarm clocks in brown, non-descript boxes. We are "democratizing" the world in one way only: we have now equalized the entire spectrum of human possibility, setting freedom and corruption side by side. Again: you're welcome.

No, it's really not interesting at all. Stop trying.
