Untitled

6am here...my green tea has steeped and bled. Just watched Red Siren, an Asia Argento film. It was sort of boring. Fleas nestle in the ridges of my socks. It's rained all night, everything is muggy and damp now. The garden has crumpled like a fist, I should take it all down...I'll wait for a dryer day. I like the idea of "doing things" but I can never quite leave the house. If I did leave the house I'm not even sure what I would do, where I would go. Reality pales next to it's promise. Of course it's all what we make of it, but I'm broke down and scattered. It's why mail-order videos are so dangerous, I didn't need another reason to stay inside. The new Americanized Japanese horror film is out, The Grudge. Why didn't they just release the original? I'll skip the new one and rent Ju-on, Japan is making the best horror right now anyway. Also, I'm trying to read Chabon's "Escapist" comics, but they're not very interesting, despite the postmodern structuring he's given them. Either they're not working or I'm just missing something, I don't know. When I stretch my socks out to flatten the ridges, little fleas are exposed, picked, and dropped into an empty beer bottle. Some of them wiggle there for hours, woozy I guess.
