Gold at the end of the rainbow

So, last week I mentioned my desire to interview Warwick Davis (Willow, Return of the Jedi). My attempts to contact him have been going on since March, so it's been a little frustrating. Yesterday I returned home from lunch and a movie, turned on my computer.....and suddenly the air was filled with the sounds of an angelic choir....a beam of light fell from the heavens and landed upon my computer screen.....I received an e-mail from Mr. Davis. He's up for the interview, which will likely take place next week, though it could be the week after. Since I love B-movies my original intent was to focus on his work with the killer Leprechaun movies, but he has apparently just finished filming the big-budget Hitchhiker's Guide movie, which I am very curious about. The books were shaped so strongly by word-play and verbal wit that it will be interesting to see how they capture that (or don't) in a special-effects driven Hollywood film.
Anyway, I'll be spending the rest of the day watching Warwick Davis films, listening to the commentary for them and trying to think up decent questions. Or, more importantly, trying to avoid the obvious questions, so we'll see how this goes.

Baldy Blog 8: interestingly enough, I can't tell for sure. It actually looks like new hair may be sprouting, but I also haven't had a haircut in awhile, so it's possible that my hair is just longer and deceptively fuller. Hmm.
