Waffles. Many, Many Waffles.

Woo-hoo, I'm back! What did everyone get for Christmas? Anything fun? Did everyone successfuly pretend to like the sausage sampler fun pack? Good. I ended up with a few Mystery Science Theater 3000 DVDs (it's one of my favorite shows), clothes of course and a waffle iron, which I'm excited about. Waffles, who isn't crazy for waffles? Maybe I'll wear my new clothes and watch Mystery Science Theater while eating my homemade waffles and sort of combine all of the gifts.

For review purposes I'm reading Whiteout by Ken Follett. It's good guilty pleasure reading but there's really not much to it. I also just got my latest Asia Argento film from Netflix...it's called Traveling Companion. I think it's one of her dramatic films, as opposed to her horror films, which are fun to watch but campy and not all that good. On the same day Netflix sent It's Alive 2 and 3, which are movies about killer mutant babies, great films for the whole family. Rent them and invite grandma over, she'll love it. Anyway, once I've picked up a six pack my week will be set. Campy horror films, Argento and booze, it's pretty frickin' nice. My new years resolution is to not change one bit, I'm having too much fun.

glad you are back...Happy New Year too.

I did the combo gift enjoyment thing too...drank a bottle of wine while watching my new dvd of Dog Day Afternoon in my very ugly pajamas from my mother-in-law. It was a hoot.

Love the mystery science theater too. Have you ever rented all the Ed Wood movies too? They are fun. After I saw "Ed Wood" I had to watch them, especialy while drinking alcohol that is the only way they make sense.

Hey Georgina! I definately love Ed Wood. I watch Plan 9 a lot, and his others are really fun...assuming of course I'm tipsy. There's Jail Bait, Glen or Glenda...then there's the one with the giant octopus, I can't remember the name of it. Congratulations on your ugly pajamas, they sound fun too.

Ms Liberty! Nice to see you...so, you also watch Mystery Science Theater, let me ask you: are you able to watch the Mike episodes? I started watching the show early on and I've had a hard time getting used to him, I've always loved the Joel episodes better. And really for no reason, Mike is funny, I'm not sure why I like his stuff less. That show and Twin Peaks have always been my favorites.
    Anyway, take care guys!
