Don't Get The Wrong Idea, America. I Am Laughing With You

So I'm driving home from work the other morning, engaged in one of my favorite hobbies: reading the bumper stickers on passing vehicles. It's a sort of pre-fabricated discourse that we slowly articulate on our cars, and its fun to watch the ideas play out. You'll see a Jesus fish. A Darwin fish. A Dead Darwin fish. A Darwin fish eating a Jesus Fish. And so on. So, as I'm driving, I see a car in the distance that has an extremely faded bumper sticker on it and I start to inch my way forward to try and read what it says. Prolonged exposure to the sun had almost turned it into a white rectangle, but I was eventually able to make it out. What did this faded, barely-readable bumper sticker have on it? An American flag, and the phrase: These Colors Don't Run.

Wow. Unintended irony of this magnitude is awesome beyond description. America: Matt salutes your heartfelt patriotism.

thanks
