Conservatives Are Cute When They're Scared
Here's a recent quote from Karl Rove:
"Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments."
Does this mean Rove would've opposed the Nuremberg trials? Maybe instead of showing Nazis that the rule of law trumps facism, we should have just tortured them and peed on copies of Mein Kampf.
Also, let's consider what Rove is really saying here: the correct response to 9-11 was to go to war. This is a reasonable position, but the problem is that we went to war with the wrong country. By removing Hussein from power, Islamic extremists received access to a country they had never infiltrated before. So criticize the left all you want, but atleast understand this: George W. Bush is a glorified real estate agent for terrorists. Anything the left says pales in comparison to what this incompetent president does.

I'm looking forward to hearing what George Bush will say in his address to the nation on Tuesday.

Since he'll be discussing Iraq, his speech will be 100% predictable...he'll ramp up the patriotism. It's what all politicians do when they're policies end up failing, a sort of political slight of hand. "Now would be the worst time to turn our backs on the troops", "Criticism only helps the terrorists", just predictable BS along these lines. Hope you are doing well Christopher!
