I Test A Popular Urban Myth

I've always heard that if you throw a chair off of a skyscraper it will slice right through someone standing on the sidewalk, like a laser. Anyway, I tried it out on my lunchbreak earlier today. The building I work at is 100 stories tall, so I hauled my chair up to the roof and tossed it off. I yelled, "Wheee!!!", as the chair tumbled, struck the building a few times, and then flattened a car full of people below. So I guess that whole thing is false. Unless...wait, was it a chair or a penny that's supposed to do that? What...what have I done?

Hey, a penny saved is a penny earned. Thanks for the chairful anecdote. Made me smile. :-)

I like sleeping in the daytime too. Not that I always get to.

Now that you mention it, this does seem a tad dangerous. Maybe I'll start tossing bean bag chairs instead.

Matt! You FOOL! It's a PENNY!

Heh heh! I wouldn't have stopped with a chair... I think a couple of desks and some filing cabinets might also have provided some good fun.

Maybe a few co-workers, a boss or two. This could get fun!

Small hitch. Throw too many things out the window and people will start thinking you are a tosser.
